The 4th Annual Simulation of a Volunteer Reception Center will be held on Saturday, April 5th at the First Baptist Church of Raytown from 9a.m. to NOON. This Simulation is designed to prepare leadership teams from various Metro Disaster Response agencies to prepare for a major disaster which would require hundreds of volunteers to credentialed and/or refered to agencies needing workers and volunteers. This simulation is held annually in a significant region of the Metro area. Leadership is provdied by the VRC Task Force of the KC METRO COAD. The public is encouraged and invited to participate in this simulation. |

Kansas City Metro COAD (Community Organizations Active In Disasters) is a "voluntary organization" with members from A to Z from the local community all of whom are concerned about working together to respond to people and the community in a coordinated manner to meet the needs of victims of disasters of all kind, natural and human initiated.
